The purpose of the 'Medard Boss-Ludwig Binswanger Center for 'Daseinsanalysis' and Existential Psychology is to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the life and works of Martin Heidegger, Medard Boss and Ludwig Binswanger. The Center's 'Daseinsanalysis' and Existential Psychology program is specifically designed to help students prepare the way for a career in the fields of philosophy, psychology, or another closely related discipline. The 'Center for 'Daseinsanalysis' and Existential Psychology offers students a unique opportunity to earn either a Master's degree or a Doctoral degree in the fields of psychology or philosophy at the graduate level. Moreover, the Center's 'Daseinsanalysis' and Existential Psychology study program is specifically designed as a "non-clinical" program of study for students who do not wish to become a "licensed" psychotherapist in the field of psychology, but, alternatively, wish to prepare themselves for a teaching career in the field of philosophy, psychology, or another closely related discipline.
Admission Requirements:
1. Baccalaureate degree in philosophy, psychology, or a closely related discipline.
2. Master's degree in philosophy, psychology, or a closely related discipline.
3. Three letters of recommendation.
4. Three page statement outlining your career objectives.
5. A personal interview.
