The graduate M.A. program offers a curriculum the celebrates the international presence of woman's spiritual culture. Viewed in this light, the Institute's core curriculum foster's the study of Woman's contribution to Western Spirituality by introducing such celebrated themes as: the role of the Feminine in religious experience, the concept of the "Eternal Feminine" in Western culture, the Mother Archetype, as well as the relation of the Feminine to the Church and the Mystical Body of Christ. Students also have the opportunity to study the history of the major female mystic writers and figures such as: St. Teresa of Avilla, Hildegard of Bingen, Catherine of Sinea, Julian of Norwich, Angela of Foligno, Catherine of Genoa, and Therese of Lisieux. You must have coursework in the above area(s) in order to apply. Please use the contact form to make your initial application.
